Ray on the Road/Key Dates

Ray's Travels

Ray has been busy gathering signatures to get on the ballot for the primary election by traveling to every corner of the state attending rallies, town halls, festivals, and more to gain insight into what's important for Arizona voters.

July 21 (Tues) – Arizona Primary Election

Nov 3 (Tues) – Federal and Arizona General Election

Ray recently visited the border in southern Arizona to gain greater insight into the area and execution of the "wall" as it currently operates. As a candidate for a seat in the U.S. Congress to represent a border state , he wanted a first-hand view of the U.S./Mexico border wall. In January, Ray drove south past Fort Huachuca and Sierra Vista to an area he had visited nearly 16 months earlier. The wall was not completed in the area. What changes to the wall in this area have been made during the current administration? None. There is erosion past the wall ends. If the current administration says, "All the illegal immigration has stopped." Then why is the U.S. spending lots more money building the wall? This comes under the question of "Fiscal Responsibility"

JUNE 2025 THROUGH END-OF-MARCH 2026 – Ray has been at almost every demonstration for NO KINGS and ICE OUT since June 2025. These include the I-17 and Carefree Hwy. bridge (3), Anthem Parkway (3), Happy Valley and I-17 (2), Peoria and 35th Ave. (2), the Surprise City Council meetings (2), and three Hamadeh protests in Sun City West and Surprise. At the last NO KINGS protest, my campaign had seven teams out at four different locations.

These protests, and the conversations, helped Ray better understand many of the progressive issues and the intensity needed to win.
